A digital product is a physical file on your server which can be securely downloaded by users through the user control panel.
The entire directory of digital products and categories can be found at:

Creating Categories
The program allows you to create categories for your digital products and then organize digital products into those categories.
Categories can be created from "Manage > Digital Products > List Categories". Click on "New" on the "Digital Product Categories" page.
Input a name, description, and select the category into which this category should be placed.
Adding Digital Products
- Manage > Add a Digital Product"
Follow on-screen directions for information on each field.
File Selection or Uploading
The program allows you to upload directly from the control panel or it allows you to link to files already on your server. We recommend that all digital products be placed in a secure folder or the "ppSD2/admin/digitalfiles" folder.
To select a file currently on your server, click the "File is currently on the server" checkbox. This will allow you to input the full server path to the file.
Note:* If you are using the control panel upload utility, your file will need to be under 10Mb. Anything larger should be uploaded directly to your server. Use the "File is currently on the server" option for these files.
Download Display Name
Input the filename as you would like for it to appear on the user's computer once the file has been downloaded.
Updating a File
You can update the file associated with each digital product by either uploading a replacement with the same name to your server, or by going to "Manage > List Digital Products" and clicking on the 1st icon in the list labeled "Replace Existing File".
Granting Access to Digital Products
To a User
From the user management screen, scroll down to the "Digital Product Access" section and type the name or ID of the digital product to grant the user access to that file.
To a Group of Users
Click on "Manage > Digital Products > User Access". From this screen you can select a secure area or user group and a digital product. When access has been added, anyone who is a member of that user group or secure area will be given access to the selected digital product.
