Selecting PayPal as Your Gateway

From ppSD2:

• "Settings" > "Payment Gateways"
• Select "Gateway" as your gateway
• Under "PayPal Basic" input your PayPal account email, your desired "IPN" settings, and your "Secret Return"
• Secret Return: This must match the name of the file located in the "cc_gateways" folder. So if you change this to "myReturnFile", you must also rename the "89238491825.php" file to "myReturnFile.php" on your server.
• Loose Rules: If you do not wish to use the IPN, you can use "Loose Rules", which are more forgiving than the IPN.

PayPal: Basic Setup

From PayPal:

• Click on "My Account" > "Profile"
• Click on "Website payments preferences"
• Set "Auto-Return" to "Yes"
• Set your return URL to http://www.yoursite.com/ppSD2/cc_gateways/89238491825.php
• Important: If you have renamed the "89238491825.php", your return URL should reflect the new name of the file.

PayPal: IPN Setup

From PayPal:

• Click on "My Account" > "Profile"
• Click on "Instant Payment Notification Preferences"
• Click on "Choose IPN Settings"
• Set your "Notification URL" to http://www.yoursite.com/ppSD2/cc_gateways/notify_pp_reply.php
• Save your changes.
